First Friday Attendance High

“First Friday was a hit!” says Terri Lingsch, owner of Artisan Traders event venue. ”We had record attendance. Everyone relaxed and socialized as they were checking out the food and new art work. Lots of buyers too.”

Terrie says, “Make plans for April 6th to join us for the next First Friday. In the meantime, our private parties continue. Call me anytime to walk though the event space.”

March 3: UnSENSORed

unSENSORed is not a show about nudity. It is an uncensored show about artist Adam Schrimmer, his environment, his work, his process and YOUR senses. Schrimmer’s gallery has been subtly transformed into a complete artist experience. You will smell, hear, taste, touch, and see at the opening.    Hope to see you there!

March 2nd…First Friday means Fun, Food and Festivities

February’s First Friday event was a hit!   Mark Webb played solo on his guitar and harmonica treating us with many of his own musical creations.  Beautiful!

The Far West End’s artists also stayed busy, enjoying a steady stream of art enthusiasts, buyers, and explorers. Attendees were rewarded with the works of Diana St.Laurent, Jim Greene, Lou Koppell, Mark Woodward, Russ Anderson and five new works by the LOMA team of juried artists.  Rory Curtis also made a debut appearance in the Far West End, with his intricate wood and stone carvings. Ice Age showed off their talent with the coolest table-top candle “crystals”.

This month’s down-home spaghetti didn’t disappoint.  And, as always, the sumptuous (and complimentary!) cakes by Art Eats Bakery were melt-in-your-mouth yummy.

Be sure to mark your calendars for the next First Friday . . . March 2nd, from 6-9pm.  Come check out more art, good food, beverage, and music at Artisan Traders 1274 Pendleton Street.
